Our herd leader at our Equine Sanctuary, Splash is 24 years old and has moderate arthritis and musculo-skeletal issues from injuries. As energy workers we are aware of his issues and are continually supporting his soundness. We have been off pasture for 5 years now, which has had a terrible effect on all of our horses as we live in the desert. I presented all of our gang with 1/4 cup of minerals this afternoon to see how they would react to the smell and taste. Splash dove into his bucket and ate at least half of it. Three hours later I found him running around the pasture and putting our other gelding in his place...his spirit was greatly improved in just this short amount of time. He has been off since Christmas Day. I am anxious to see how the other horses respond to the minerals!

I have written on these minerals and have suggested them to many friends. And I have had another discovery with these minerals, my cronic rain rot, scratches, etc horse no longer has any skin issues !! Another plus for Big Sky Minerals. When a friend told me about her horses no longer having the above issues, I began to think about it and I no longer had those issues either. Having had horses most of my life, I've seen an increase in mysterious health problems that I now believe may be directly related to mineral deficiency or imbalance. Never have I seen one single product generate faster, more visible effects on all four horses I care for. Despite a natural lifestyle (24/7 turnout in a herd) and what I thought was a premium diet, two seniors about to turn 30 struggled to keep weight on, while the other two middle-aged horses were fat to morbidly obese (metabolic). I am amazed at how much my horses love the Big Sky minerals. I buy the bulk bags and transfer some into a smaller container which is easier for me to manage. The horses see me carrying the container and they all start calling for it. It's like I'm serving ice cream to kids! What I like is the good reviews from the natural trimmer who does my horses feet. He has commented on how great everyone's feet are looking as well as the beautiful sheen to their coats. This is a very good product, and I recommend it without reservation.

Shipping is prompt, thank you! I just wish I had discovered Hiland's Big Sky Minerals years ago. We have been feeding Big Sky for four months now and I'm amazed. As described by other users the coats are beautiful, the feet are growing wonderfully and strong, and muscle tone is improved. The weepy eyed pony no longer has weepy eyes. The cresty pony has hardly any crest at all. The horse that gets open allergic sores on his shoulders every summer has no open sores this year. The arthritic horse is becomming more flexible. I love that it can be fed free choice and every time I see them standing in the field I'm happy to see them looking so good!
